Cheap mil surplus XC skis here!

greif
Colemans in Penn. has  mil surplus xc skis  2 pr for $29.99. Sizes 190, 200, 210 available.

I haven't skied these yet- just got them at the end of last season. They are very nicely made, steel edges, leaning to the backcountry side of things. These are waxable with very decent camber. Only downside is a few predrilled holes for mounting mil bindings of some sort, and you have to mount your own bindings. Width; 75/65/70 sidecut. Shipping is kind of high but still a deal.

More for slogging through the mountains with a giant pack and a rifle strapped to your back. Here is a a humourous review:

Yes, classic xc skis (not skate). Not all that heavy as some mil surplus are. Made by Asnes in Norway, they seem to be the good stuff!
