Did GW make the worst blunder in US history?

Did George W. Bush Make the Worst Foreign Policy Decisions in U.S. History?

This guy thinks the Iraq war was the worst mistake anyone has ever made and refuses to pin the blame on any of his staff (asscroft, shamey, woolywitch):

https://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1476741190/wnycorg-20/

his reasoning is that we are still paying for it financially and presently with what is going on today in the ME.

Anyway, it's supposed to be really well researched and interesting if you enjoy contemporary history.

interview with Leonard Lopate will be here. Interesting stuff, live now.

Its right up there with:

decision to succeed from the Union by the South

Treaty of Versailles which in turn forced Germany into a corner and spawned WW2

leaving Pearl Harbor undefended when the indicators all pointed to a war was coming

Getting involved in Vietnam to start with

That is probably the top 5 and you could argue any of the others I mentioned being bigger mistakes.

Some others that come to mind are the Bay of Pigs, the Susan B. Anthony dollar and decisions - or lack thereof - leading up to the financial crisis.
