Fall Weather (2013)

Well. I got nothing. Just wanted to post this thread, and officially retire the summer thread.

Looks cold, maybe some high elevation snow tomorrow night?

Frost Warnings:

Its officially been fkn beautiful every single day, and I've been working 10-12 hrs days, M-F. Of course when I went camping on Saturday night with no tent, it pisses rain.
 
Aside from that, and no snow, I love this weather.

The equation is simple, really. The snow is where I am not.
2010-2011: Hardly snowed at all in Buffalo (where I went to school), dumped on most EC mountains.
2011-2012: I stayed home and went to community college. Worst ski season (of my ski career) to date.
2012-2013: I moved to Alta. YTD snowfall when I left was just over 300" 10 yr average is 500". Base never got over 100". EC skiing was supreme.
2013-2014: expect it to start DUMPING Nov 17th, because I'll be out of the time zone by then. Probably won't stop until Mother's day when I get home. Enjoy it.

some people are just snow jinx..I fall somewhere in the middle. People like Jamesdeluxe and Powderqueen seem to score on all there trips..

one thing I can guarantee is, you will have more powder days out there than here..
