The IV's were the orange freestyle ski. I had a pair of the Olin Mark VI Comp SL, which were a slalom (race) ski. Black in color.

We even would go dumpster diving for skis. Dynastar had a factory in Essex and they would toss their blems in a dumpster out back. They would crack the tails in an attempt to stop people from skiing them. If you dug around long enough you could find some that in having a roommate in the ski shop were easily fixed.

My VIs were green with yellow text. On another note, here in Jersey when the shops didn't sell their inventory, they'd often blow their goods out for cheap. Like way cheap.

Yes, first generation were green and then mine were the 2nd generation.  I had the Comp SL version of the 2nd generation Mark VI's and I think the Comp DH version were used in the Bond Film, For Your Eyes Only.
