First ski injury of the season.

Milo Maltbie
I sliced my knuckle on the edge of a ski I was brushing.

Two tries to post a picture and two fails. That’s probably better anyway.

A rotobrush would be sweet but it's too much for my once-a-year hot wax schedule. Next year I'll wear gloves.

A rotobrush effect is lucky to last through a single run - important for the first few gates of a racer but after that the abrasiveness of the snow has more impact to the skis surface. For those not racing - scrape and move on, and even that is optional.

I fell down and went boom last week. Got a nice dislocation and small fractured bone.
