GPS Tracks of Hudson Chair, Barkeater, etc.

Keith, interesting that the old gondola is on the map, not the new.  I guess the most recent USGS topo for Gore must be pre- '99.  You didn't ski down to or ride lifts from the main base that day?

Or at least the maps Nat'l Geo uses are pre '99.

Nope never made it over to the "main" part of the mt. Didn't feel the need.

Would love to see the horizontal profile of a full run of the interconnect. I bet that would create some discussion!

Obviously the vertical scale is exaggerated a bit, but this could be a start. The negative numbers for slope are the actual numbers. Google Earth isn't amazingly accurate, but it works.

Harv - Not sure what you mean by "How does it get "onto the map?"  The software imports the tracks from the GPS.
