Letter from Mark Whitmore to John Meier, Marc Stemerman and the skiers of Greek Peak:
Hi John and Marc,
We need a huge volunteer effort to get Labyrinth and the other glades cleaned up for the upcoming ski season. I’d appreciate it if you guys could help get the word out to Greek Peak skiers.
The Ski Patrol has usually been the lead group cleaning up the glades for the past. We will be doing it again on Sunday, October 26 starting at 9:00 AM meeting at the Ski Patrol building. Work will consist mostly of moving cut up logs and branches from fallen trees off the trails. Most of the work will focus on widening the steep section of Labyrinth and getting hay laid down so the snow will stay in place. Dress for the mud in the glades. Come join us for a few hours to make our popular glades trails ready for the snow to come.
Things to bring: lunch, gloves, grass whip, bush hook, loppers.
Transportation from Patrol Building to the glades will be provided.
Best regards,
Mark Whitmore
