Glade Cleanup at Greek Peak

From Greek Peak today:

Hope the summer has been good for you.

Way too short for me but I’m ready for snow. I’ve set some dates for glades cleanup and it would be fantastic if we could get a BUNCH of folks out there to help. Glades days are 11 & 12 October, and 26 October.

Meet at the Patrol building 9am.

Dang. Wish I could go and help....Oct 12th is work day at deer camp and the 26th I have a golf tourney

I started there and it has been about 12 years now.  I've had a pass just about every year there.  Are you from Bergers?

I can't make glade cleanup but I want to try to get to opening day there. I loved the vibe, worth the drive even for man made.

I envy you.  I would like to ski there more often.  It's under 2 hrs for me so I fully expect to be there for more powder days this year.  And I do plan to be at the Plattekill glade clearing day.  If you see me feel free to show me some good lines.

I'm in at least for the 12th. Working on 11th and hope to be skiing killington on the 26th.

Been skiing there for 40+ years ---- man that makes me sound old

p.s don't get sucked in by that  powderass dude...this is a chill place with mostly good peeps --- enjoy

Thanks.  Youve been skiing longer than ive been alive.  So im sure ive seen you on the mtn.  You arent the big bearded dude with the dead sticker on his helmet are you?

No, but I ski with Camo John (at times) and due enjoy a lift ride with him from time to time. He's a good dude.

Deer camp and golf tourney are rarely used in the same sentence.

We should try to organize a trip up to GP this season.
