Really, really good skiing today at Gore. Darby Woods, Mineshaft, Tahawus, and Cirque were the "on the map" glades we skied (all open). Bony, but really nice, light snow on top. Definitely glad I had the rock skis on today, but also glad we were finally able to get into the trees. Chati and Rumor had big piles of soft snow on them:
The trees were awesome, and untracked in a lot of the (cough, cough) places:
Even the "on the map" stuff was cool. The new entrance into Tahawus Glades from Cedars is fun. We took the Echo Entrance to Cirque Glades, which was nice, but a little skied off in the usual places:
Topridge was open and had huge snowmaking whales:
All in all, it was a great day. So satisfying to finally get an all day skifest in:
