Ski Day 6: Up early and off to the mountain. Beautiful day on Saturday.

Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

Was very cool to see 6 or 8 fan guns loading up the base area.

Northwoods Lodge

Quicksilver was absolutely trenchable Saturday and especially Sunday.  Best snow on the hill.

Lincoln hammers on Wild Air

Mornin'

EDeO

Freeheeln Whales on Lower Uncas

Got to ski with Lincs, Freeheeln, Duck, EDeO et al.

It was a good weekend.

I was thinking the same thing on the photo... Heck all of them are stellar.

This off his pocket camera!

Hope to make it to Gore when the snow is deep.

I'd photoshop the grass out first  then I'd 100% agree.

No way the grass is KEY.

Lincs and I were beyond the bounds of the groomer skiing the gunpow natch mix.  That is the Gore way.

Here's the thing about point and shoots, they have gotten WAY better. Since every phone is a semi-decent camera, no one wants a $120 Cannon anymore.  Now they make some sweet (albeit more expensive) small cameras.

It's a bit of a conundrum, because I go through cameras fast.  I pull them out in snow and snowmaking, and I fall on them. So I get about two years out of each one.  My last one was definitely a step up.

JTG4eva!
I agree with both.

To make it a brochure shot for Gore the grass would have to go.

As a general bad-ass 'I'll stomp any snow conditions, anywhere' shot the grass is perfect!
