After a day of heavy rain and another of warm air temps, we weren't expecting much at Gore today. I woke up to wet roads and not a trace of snow in Saratoga, but the mountain did manage to pick up a couple of inches of white stuff. Showcase to Lower Sleighride was open, and made for a nice fresh run. Gotta hand it to Gore for getting that ready in spite of the weather. Topridge, which had been groomed since my visit Wednesday, had some nice soft snow on skier's left. It was a little scratchy underneath, but with my beater skis on I didn't care. The video below is one run on Topridge summed up. I'm sure Fujative will be posting some still shots in here later.
