That's what I think. A booster.  I heard it was in the base.

No Verizon coverage in town. I don't think so.

It's a booster in the base and it's Verizon only. The guy who installed it showed it to me.

NYS's  largest phone contract is through Verizon.  They have been dropping mini-boosters in most state offices where there is low signal.  They spent a pretty penny in my building a few years ago putting about a dozen micro antennas in throughout the building.    

They did the same thing at Belleayre last season. Boosters were installed in the Discovery and Overlook lodge. Full bar service verizon inside and begins to rapidly diminish has you move away from the lodges.

They actually did something similar on Lake George a few years ago. They installed a mini Verizon cell site on Glen Island which brought dramatically better cell service to it and the islands in proximity.
