Rain softened things up a bit today. I Took my 4th, 5th, and 6th tele runs of my life today. Ruby to Sunway, Topride, then Foxlair to Sunway. My legs definitely aren't conditioned for this. First run wasn't too shabby. Topridge delivered many entertaining falls. Foxlair was fun.. I think. It went by too fast trying to chase down Freeheeln. My legs were pretty much done lunging after that. Went back to Alpine for a few runs.. We did Topridge again and then Foxlair into Sunway. Topridge, like Harv said, had some decent sized, extremely irregular bumps. Sometimes I forget how much fun it is to rip huge GS turns down flat trails. Soft snow allowed for my skis to ride the edges quite nicely.
I ran inside to find Hank to see if he wanted to make some runs. There he was... all dressed down in to hit shorts. I convinced him to take a few more runs with us, until we looked outside. Then it convinced both of us to stay in. Good thing I grabbed my new technical shell. 20k waterproofing was definitely needed for today.
Mountain is definitely hurting for some snow. Holidays will be rough for sure.
