Yeah, I've invested a lot also... Just saying the return on investment is at record lows and getting lower.

FWIW, our friends picked up there passes yesterday, a mom with 3 boys.  They bailed on the line 2 weeks ago.  One question:  their passes have a magnetic strip across the back, like a credit card.  Our family's passes, which we picked up 2 weeks ago have no magnetic strip.  What's that mag strip going to be used for?

Also they haven't been scanning passes/tickets at the gondi.  I assume that's going to change shortly.  Do they  need new ticket scanners this year?

The least they could do is give us drugs to relieve anxiety and stress...

Not I, and from what I hear we probably won't this weekend either. NYSEF is also giving out individual tickets.

BTW, will we see you at the Hovey? We will be there on Sat as well as the U14 race on Sunday.

My kid got his NYSEF pass almost a month ago.  This is so odd.  

I'm starting to think that someone is not giving Snowsports their passes on purpose at this point as the vast majority of the customers are supposedly taken care of up here.  The why would be to give them more control I guess though with the pay change now is not the time to piss into wind or they are going to lose staff.  There are some pretty unhappy campers up here.

Dan - my son will be doing the Hovey.  He is a U12 now.  There is some talk of some of the better U12's get some starts in the U14 counsil races but I don't know if he will do that race on Sunday or not at this point.  It would be nice to meet you and have a beer together that day.

The Kandahar qualifying race is at Whiteface as well this year.

The only thing I can possibly fathom is that they are trying to link the passes to our food discount (so we have to scan it when we get food or something) and they can't figure out how to do it. That is a COMPLETE guess, though, and probably wrong...

I'm just trying to come up with an excuse, when it seems like there really is no excuse...
