Just spent the last two hours assembling stuff, including this years grand prize, a balance beam:

Largely a no assembly required Christmas for me, with my wife having done the real work.....wrapping!

I cut the cord last year. Roku and sling TV. Happy holidays.

I spent a winter up there 2k old skier for the 94/95 season. I lapped the back side area over and over again for fresh tracks all winter long, it was rad.

Merry Christmas to all the NYSBers from SBR and Blue Toes, temporarily located in the United States. We are in southwestern PA, at BT's mom's. There was no snow here until this morning, and TD reports that it is DUMPING in the Hinterlands. We'll return home on the 27th, expecting frigid temps and an impassable driveway. Woot!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all!  

I had a nice little break from work. Got to spend some much needed time with family and friends.

A Belated Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year , been distracted we havethe entire family and all four college aged grandkids here since Saturday so with 11 of us here its been a hoot and busy the Queen  was cooking a bakin a myriad of pies ,cakes , fancy deserts and candy and fudge for the past couple ofweeks and freezing the stuff to get ready .Huge hams ,Roast beef , TUrkey  etc and spaghetti , all kinds o stuff great stuff like multiple loaves of sausage breads by the queen and my SIL mom baked us couple ofawesome walnut cinnomon breakfast cakes

Hey did i say The Captain rules , my ONLY contribution is huge supply ofCaptain Morgan laced walnut fudge that is MY only specialty  .

John Boy up from Manhattan and his sister in Boston  brought awesome stuff from some tres kewl ethnic bakeries in their regions . Just an awesome time with the fam including my BIL most will be here theu the end ofthe week . Skating, maybe some skiingifthis damn deep freeze last nite and today -35 degree winchills and they are projecting subzero here thru the next 8 days . I got snowbanks from plowing that are over my headnow . Havent seen this stuff since the 70's .... But damn its purdy and we are having a great time together . Hadnt seen my no. 1 grandboy in oa year . He's now 23 and in  his sixth year of Rx school next yr he will be Dr JohnBoy jr.

L keep ya postedIFi get the courage to try my first outing in over two years after the hip debacle and another minor  heart episode . Got new skis as my motivation went all mtn got off the Atomic Sx 10 and are now goingto use the new pkg i bought two years ago a week before my first surgery .. These are Atomic blackeye TI ,s about 17 mm wider at  the waist than what i was on and rockered so it WILL be different and hopefully more appropriate for a guy my age coming off a huge layoff .. Right now i have the desire but gotta work on the head stuff getting back in the saddle .
