Hardy Hour? and some MTB trail questions

ADmiKe
I'll be in Wilmington/LP Wed-Sat this week...going to have my bike with me...Hardy Hour still a regular event on Friday?  Never been on one, haven't been up in the area in summer in a while, last time was before I was even into MTB...what's the details,  Is anyone welcome to join?

About how long does it usually go on for?  I'll be up with my wife so I'll have to "ditch" her for a couple hours if I decide to join ha...I'm staying in Wilmington so I could prob just ride the bike over to the meet up spot

I'm assuming Scotty Jack prob has the info...

I haven't gotten a chance to ride up in the area yet - planning to rent my wife a hardtail somewhere (any suggestions?) on Saturday to check out some trails - only issue being I prob won't get to any of the more fun stuff since she's not looking to struggle.  Anyone have some good suggestions for some fun beginner/intermediate trails I could take her on that will still be fun for a rider with more experience?

Thanks
Mike

I'll let ScottyJ take this over but the good news is that Loggers/Lussi should be good to go and that's mostly flat and easy riding. The Hardy trails aren't too technical, if you're in the mood there is plenty of climbing- if you choose!Hardy Hr is still a strong weekly event, bring a few beers with ya.Since you're in Wilmington you'll be able to ride to the flume trails which are great.  So many good people up there, the locals will take you under their wing
The day begins...  Your mountain awaits.

I'm certain hardy is going strong. I don't participate so not certain times Scotty will get you. Over in Placid Henry wood are good for intermediate and so is hardy. Placid planet will rent your wife a full suspension. Santa Cruz, 5010 or whatever that one is. Best rental in town. If you can rent her full suspension why not?  The riding has been excellent lately over in Placid things have dried up pretty good.

Rides start between 5-6p. Even if you're late the parking area is right in the middle of the trails so people are always coming and going. Wish we could make it up this Friday!
