How Much is 100 Bucks Worth?

Depends on where you live.  Maybe make your dough in NY but spend it in Missip. Or retire there.

Or maybe go all out and get a fracking job in North Dakota.

I dunno, VT and ME don't look so bad and they would be way more fun than ND. If I was American, I would live in VT or ME.

But then you'd have to learn how to spell things different. Take Harv there, he was a wee short on his i-s-s-I-s-s-I-p-p-i's. Guess he never learnt* how to spell Mississippi in school.

 Nother NNY'er , tried several other locations for extended periods  when i first retired , but i cant live any better and any more reasonably Than here .    Love the 4 seasons , small town life and the The River and the Dacks and Laurentians are close .Ottawa ,Kingston are day trips , Montreal 2 hrs away .......the BEST of BOTH nations at our finger tips .

And the NORTH COUNTRY is just different ...........like cheers.  Where EVERYBODY know your name

Strangely enough NNY is very reasonable financially , is pristine , low density and has a pretty high quality of life ....ask Puck IT !

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Also it's a bit of BS because what drives prices higher (in part) is demand, which is (in part) created by jobs.

No real surprises I guess.
