How's the 'Face looking?

Efilnikufesin
Heading up Tuesday night for three days, or maybe two and a day back at Gore on the way home. Don't need total freshies will make due and have to say I love chopped up fresh over most conditions, looking good for any of it by Wed?

Any glades I can bring a newcomer into? Just got my friend bitten by the bug. Don't know WF as well as Gore.

Well, it has snowed since last Friday when I left, and it was good then
natural snow, there should be decent glade skiing off of Mackenzie
they are blowing on Upper Northway so the glades there are probably decent
have fun

The glades off the top of upper Northway are not for glades newbies

Use the 10th mt glade entrance just above the connection to lower Northway instead

The ones off Mac are also more openly spaced

Sunday I was tempted to drop into Cloudsplitter Glades off of Approach.  There are a couple of entrances that didn't have the typical rope up, and had tracks heading in.  It was toward the end of my day (I called it quits at 2:30 to get home for the SB) so I didn't have the time.  I bet after the snow Monday and last night they must be skiing well.  Do they not open them until they can be accessed off of Upper Northway?  Tough to get a sled through those entrances off Approach?

Not something you want to ski Late in the day by yourself if it's only sort of open

One year they didn't blow Northway and that was the way in

If the rope is on the NW entrance I would probably not go in from approach

Ideally, which is why I didn't.  Been in there plenty of times.  Wouldn't want to be hurt in there late if they weren't sweeping.

Anybody gotten a decent eyeball on the Slides?  Heading up last week of February and hoping they have filled in by then.
