Hunter Mountain Vintage ski pins

  FYI my dad manufactured ski pins in the 60's and I inherited several of them. These Hunter ones of some of my favorites. He go to know Karl Plattner who ran the ski school there in the 60's and custom made him the one-of-a-kind Apres Ski School one with the glass....these are not for sale but I have about 300 that are..

I have this one, it was my father's. He was an instructor at Hunter in the 60's and 70's. I'd never sell it though...too many good memories. I like your Apres Ski School pin.

looks like the same era....is your dad still living? if so, did he have any connections to the pins they used for racing...I have one of those, too

He is, he is 88. He didn't have a connection to the racing program.

HPD, or anyone else that's been around Hunter for a long time ...... Any of you guys remember Big Jim Savino??? He used to be an instructor at Hunter, but left there to coach the Cornell Race Team. Just curious, Big Jim is part of our Sunday Crew and one hell of a funny dude.

Not me Camp. I don't know anyone down there any more.
