Same brewer as Hammo's HPD? I hope not
I enjoyed your suggestion of staying there and I'm doing it again in Feb for two days of racing for my son down in the Cats

Yeah, it's the same brewer as Hammo's...he's my son in law, but you know that.  He's done so well at Hammo's and expanded their business so much that the owner of Hammo's asked him to go into business with him as a part owner in Hunter.

Very cool that they advertise dog friendly deck

Yes...he is doing both.

What is the drive from Hammos to Hunter? 15 mins?

What about to Bellerye?  What is the best route?

My son has a GS at Hunter one day and Bellerye the next day.  Some idiot at Nyssra thinks a race on a Saturday the back end of Presidents week at Hunter is a good idea

Not looking forward to that at all.  Won't pay to ski Hunter period.  Bellerye is free for me so I will that day plus you need to ski to get to the race trail there.

It's about a 1/2 hr or so away.  From Hunter take 214 to 28w to Bell ...Not worth the drive for a beer...but what is worth the drive, is going to Brios in Phoenicia.. the best pizza I have ever eaten..A pizza and beer here  will change your view on the Cats..That pizza is so good it's worth the drive from Lake Placid...

Old Cosmic Charlies is reopening as Patriots cafe' of some BS..  

Some pics from the grand reopening. They had a band later on and the place was hoppin...good time. I know I'm prejudice, but it really is a nice place. It has a great view of the ski area too. I couldn’t get a picture of it from the deck because it was snowing hard when I took the pics and you couldn’t see the mountain.
