I only ski chair 1 area from 7:30 to 9-9:30 anyway, then it's off to where the real skiing is on the hill. Bet the new lift will hold peeps there even longer, which is cool w/ me.

When we interviewed the owners my only real comment to Marc and John was that using the phrase "high speed lift" could open then to some criticism.  They didn't really want to go with "higher speed lift" or "improved uphill speed" or whatever.

These guys have accomplished a ton in life by doing what they think makes the most sense and they don't seem to sweat the naysayers.  One of them said something like "I think we've got a pretty solid project list for year one."

Agree, these guys are pretty solid.

Looking forward to meeting them as we have mutual friends---should be a hoot

I don't know too much about Marc, other than he took over the family business after college.  John built a number of small businesses from the ground up and is respected in the CNC machine tool industry in the region as a good businessman.  He tends to be more conservative with the spending of money, as he realizes the value of a dollar.
