Thanks, exactly the kind of pix you expect from JH.

The Mangy Moose must be printing money given how virtually everyone stops there at some point.

Whats the rope you were hanging off of.  Nice pics.  That trophy has a little sex appeal to it.

Great pics - looks like you scored well Tuesday!
Me, not so much. My scheduled 10:00 am direct flight our of EWR was cancelled, best I could do was a 4 pm SLC via DEN, arrived SLC 10:00 pm and rented a car for the 5 hr drive  to JAC. Grabbed a few Zzzzz's and headed for the gondy. Still great snow Wednesday morning.

a tad nipply on the the way Friday monning

I don't think you needed to add any words.  Bucket list stuff right there.  Thanks for sharing.
Sent from the driver's seat of my car while in motion.

Yeah, we got a late start Friday morning, too. By then, there wasn't a lot of fresh left. (Wednesday & Thursday, we found some good stuff in the Saratoga Bowl and on the bottom of Sublette Ridge).

I do feel like I missed out by not going through the Backcountry gates to get to some easily accessible stuff that I knew I could ski back to the resort from, but the ladies did not have Avi gear and my brother didn't want to go out without them, so we just skied the resort.

And yeah, some of the bronze statues at the Wort Hotel Bar were... Interesting:

This is pretty cool. I think they need a swing at Platty

Good on ya Matt!

I was the head bellman at the Wort for a couple of years. I only had one day shift a week, the rest were evenings. Man! that was a killer ski bum gig.

So Corbet's.......what's the reality?  Who has done it?  Who has turned around?  Compare to anything in the East?  Not looking for a list to reward,  just to validate the hype.  I have not done it/seen it.   Nor spoke with anyone who has.

There’s way cooler lines all around at the Vill and in the sidecountry imho but it’s classic and always intimidating as you roll up to the edge.

There’s nothing at east coast ski areas that is anywhere close to it. Heck, there’s no marked runs like it out west either but there’s plenty off off map stuff that’s much more exciting imo.
