Jay Peak - Alba Adventures trip report 4/19/15

Skiray

April means one thing to the Albas, The coming of the close of the ski season. Even though we want this season to never end, All good things must So we take in as many last turns Enjoy the extra "Sol" And embrace this Spring with: Sol Full Sunday

Sol means SUN in Spanish.

If there was one video that we would ask you to watch to the end, this would be it.

It was a tough edit and you will see why. Lots of great skiing in this video.

Thank you Harvey and NYSkiBlog for letting us be part of your community and for your taking part in our adventures.

Alicia and I are in tears. When we got up that AM this past Sunday, we finished painting the rocks, Nevada our daughter never met her oldest brother and Sandro had just turned 3 the week before Rocky passed. Irony is, that the loss of their brother, without any firm memory of him, also has them sad but, happy that he isn't suffering anymore.

We can't thank you enough for watching our videos and following us. We are simple people, with seemingly simple lives but, trying to make each day, one that is lived and loved.

Ray , you are an inspiration. Your dedication to family and to  wellbeing  of others  is not only exceptional but is reflected in your work on both the vids and your writing . Rocky was indeed fortunate to have had such a man as his father .

Your dedication to the sport and the joy you guys exude from the shared family experience on the mountain will. Create for your kids a wonderfully rich  bank of memories that can be a safe haven for them when ever life throws them a curveball !

All the best ,
 warp

As I write this note, we are in deep appreciation for everyone we have met in this ski community.  Harvey and you all have been so welcoming, supporting and even with a conflict here and there, we all seem to care for the well being for one another. I came home, after meetings and having to pick up the kids to this on my page  - that Jay Peak has shared our video on the Facebook page and on their site.  Words really can't describe what we are feeling at this moment but, what I can confirm, that there are tears of joy here in the Alba household.

Thank you all, thank you Jay Peak.
