Well, as always, I point to a hand written sign taped to the inside of the ticket window around, oh, 1997, on, I think, 11/18, when they had the most trails open anywhere in the east, and they were charging nearly full season prices for a daily. It said "Snowmaking is expensive."
Fine, makes sense to me. What doesn't make sense to me are time share condos worth more than an average American house. I'm happy that they aren't in that biz.
