The worst part about the "reopening" will be smarmy moralists who try to shame you out of doing the things you like to do by using dumb phrases intended to diminish the people that they are upset at (for ridiculous reasons).

I will say, the whole Killington thing is just like the Gore thing in the beginning, and not going if it’s closed, regardless of anyone’s personal wants, warrants expression.

But for the record, this thread is an example of you attempting to use him as a punching bag.

He’s a punching bag because I call him out on ignoring a public health closure, a closure intended to protect people (mostly people other than the MCs of the world) during a deadly pandemic......all because he thinks he knows better than the myriad of experts who brought about said closure?  That, or he just doesn’t get it and doesn’t care about anyone but himself?  Either way, sorry....I’m not getting ‘punching bag’ there.  If he chooses not to take his deserved rebuke in stride, and wants to tussle....yeah, I should do better at TTOC.  However, whatever punches he takes at that point are more on him.

Maybe part of "getting back to normal" should be getting out of this mindset where we are permanently stuck in "don't do anything and *certainly* don't talk about doing anything" mode.
