I don’t know if this interesting enough to post, it’s raw POV stuff from last season. I’ve been meaning to put this together for a while now, just to document it and such.
I usually do a season edit (if we get a winter) in the spring and then at some point later throw a raw edit showing mostly full lines or runs just to have it. Last winter was insanely good here.
Hey RA, do you think there’s a market for editing people’s raw ski footage to make their home movies look more professional? I imagine heli-ski operators probably do it for their clients but maybe there’s a niche there.
Funny you mention that - I know Cody Townsend sends all of his stuff out to edit to where, I don't know. Though believe there is a cottage business for this since most of the big vloggers don't edit or even shoot their own stuff anymore. Or have small crews. So, I am sure RA or someone you know can do this.
One time I edited something for a friend of mine - he asked me to and he literally gave me 14 hours of POV footage from his trip to Italy. So much of it was the same. Anyway, I did produce something for him and he and his friends were like floored. let me know if you ever want to see it. Its about 4 to 5 years old now - though still pretty good.
Thanks Skiray. I don’t shoot much video and what I have is not rad- GoPro that looks a lot slower then it felt when we were skiing and my kids as toddlers doing slow s-turns in the learning area
