Indeed - but as some of us are getting much closer to that number it is incredibly sad...

No, don't be sad.. Look at it as inspiration. Limited time on Earth and all that. Sorry, but, you're ending up there, like all of us. Learn to worm before you can't. From what I can see, he smiled until the end.

Sort of Jongish. If anybody can find Stein doing it, please, post. Probably barely mussed his hair.

Don't understand "learn to worm" but one think I did notice, look at the first pic posted, He is cranking a turn and that down hill ski has no bend in it - stiff as a rail, he is torqueing on the up hill ski pole which is bent to nearly snapping.

I was post Royal Christie generation but I once skied with an older guy (who would be in his late 90s if he was still alive) who could pull them off even in his mid 80s.

You're missing the point. The pole is bent, but, his hair is perfect.

PeeTex it's got to be good.  There's reasonable evidence that man may be getting close to his lifespan peak.  If you were born 100 years ago, 50 was about it. Think gravy, man, you are skiing.

I know it's easy for me to say, but you know... just sayin.

Good article linked in the OP.

It's all about the reverse shoulder roll.  Stein was the man...he was revolutionary.
