MTB Zion (Wire Mesa)

 )We were in Southern Utah this past week(family trip) and was able to fit in half day of riding.. Desert riding is incredible. The solitude , heat and dehydration are a few things we don't deal with back east.
I rented a top of the line Trek from Zion Cycle , They gave me directions to Wire Mesa and told me to have fun. First he said I would have a mile or so climb on a dirt road to get to the trail head...BULLSHIT!!! 2miles of the steepest dustiest lose rock road I ever broke my ass on...It was sooo worth it!! Wire Mesa is a 8mile loop of the most beautiful and cool riding I have ever done..Here's some pics..I have included the worst selfie in history..yeah I look horrible..

I discovered the solution to the sideways iPhone pics. Go into edit for each photo, open the crop tool, rotate it 360 degrees, crop a hairs width off the edge and save it.

There is a little bit of everything..Flow/Slick/general rocks and awesome  views..

but on a side note Blauvelt is not a bad 40 min ride..it's also 10 mins from my house
