Mad River Glen 2/19/15

Megbeck10
I will preface this with the fact that this was my first day ever at MRG.  I have to put this in my top 2-3 best days on snow in my life.  There was 6-8" of powder on chute, lifeline, and paradise, and at least 12" in the woods.  I don't think I've ever worked for more turned or every laughed so hard skiing in my entire life.  I usually spend 6 days a week coaching race teams so this was an awesome day for me.  Can't wait to go back when we get another big dumping!!

We were there on Sunday, the 22nd.  It snowed about 8 inches overnight, and the conditions were spectacular.  The problem is that they have gradually raised the floor over the last month, so that I'm hitting my head on the branches in some of the glades.  In fact I had to ride out of one favorite line on the tails of my skis.  In early January we were going around this drop, but we finally dropped it this time.  What a winter!
