Magic Mountain VT. 4/7/18

This past Saturday was one of the best days of the year.  For me it's these days that are my favorite.  The "sleeper" days.  it's no secret Magic delivers on powder days.  But it's the unexpected days like Saturday where it really shines.  

Woke up thinking it would be a nice day to wind down the season.  Have some laughs, give some hugs & wrap things up.  

1st run down Up Your Sleeve reveals,..................HOLY Sh*t!!  It's wall to wall untracked.  I snap a quick cell pic.

Realizing this is going to be a special day,.......the greatest finale ever.  I must document it & grab my camera.

This guys 1st ever day @ Magic.  He hated it.




Thanks to Magic for making it a very memorable season.  Unbelievable what they have done it a short period of time.  

Looking forward to many more.

The Magic website early Saturday reported 3-5 inches accumulation. Looks like a bit more than that!

I have a feeling they'll be a few of us up on the mountain for the annual closing after the lifs close extravaganza.

If i ski, that'll be where.

Not fair posting these pics LOL!  Magic Mountain truly delivered the "magic" this year - now everyone will want to go there.  Honestly, Magic, Plattekill and Mad River Glen are in a league of their own - pure "retro" skiing.  I love how they leave their slopes alone when it snows.  Glad Magic had a good snow year and glad you had a chance to sample the goods!

We need to have a day to hate like this!
