That won't happen.  The lift must be re-engineered before it can be reinstalled.  This means finding the new profile and matching the towers up to it and cutting some to be shorter if needed.  It will be cheaper to helicopter it into the parking lot and truck it over than helicoptering everything over 15 miles each time that a tower is removed.

I get that relationships aren't your thing. It wasn't that long ago that a top ORDA exec — burned by a previous experience with you — laughed at me when I asked him if you could get an advanced ride on the new Belle gondi. I don't blame him.

Regarding the rest of it, I guess you are still carrying grudge from the Mt Peter thing. I never deleted anything. I temporarily took down your post as a favor to Carol, one of the world's nicest people. She wanted to announce the big news herself.  I put your post back up after the new lift was made public. Full disclosure, she actually sighed and said, "no, no just leave it up." It was my call to take it down.

So you admit to deleting my stuff to advance your standing with someone you perceive as more important.  I have my own connections and I don't need your help to make them and I certainly won't be helping you out at all.

I don't believe you ever asked if I could have a pre-public ride on the Belleayre gondola, from my own experience and from what I've heard from others, you only do what benefits yourself.
 It's possible I could've gotten one if I asked the right people.  The difference between me and you is I am honest and you ass-kiss and say what you're told to say.

When you deleted my report from Mount Peter, you said I scooped them when in reality they'd announced it months in advance, which is why I knew what to look for.  I could prove it if I look up the dates of everything.  It was no secret Magic wanted the Stratton lift.  They were saying "stay tuned for our plans with Black" for weeks.  We knew they had gotten stuff from Stratton in the past.  Not hard to put 2 and 2 together.

Once again you seem to be confusing me with a journalist. I'm a guy who wants to ski, take pictures and write about it. I'm in "it" and life in general for the fun.  Are you having fun?

I re-deleted it when I realized that I didn't want to give them free publicity after all.  They've lost me as a future customer and there's nothing they can do about it.  

I do all this stuff because I'm interested in lifts and am trying to learn more about them.  I'm not trying to compete with anyone who's installing one for updating on it.  I still want to see stuff in person and take pictures.

I'm surprised you even care about a 32 yo fixed grip chair. God forbid you ever skied at a ski mountain that uses one as it's main summit lift. We'd never hear the end of it. Plus, you'd hate Magic. It has narrow trails, not much snowmaking and doesn't groom often.  It's why it's called a "skier's mountain." Stick to the mega resorts, kid.

You should let go of all these petty grievances, Sno. It seems to me that they’re mostly one-sided on your part or else completely imaginary. You come off as paranoid. Harboring grudges is bad for your soul.
