My woodstove

Loaded the last of this seasons wood into the old Heartstone last night.  Sat in my rocking chair and enjoyed the comfort it lends!  Mixed emotions for sure.  Big fan of the seasons but man I enjoyed sitting by that fire w/ my old hound dog watching the snow pile up knowing I'd be rippin it in the AM!

BTW - Meant to mention it was snowing and blowing last night!

Whoa! Thankfully found a half dozen hemlock pieces I stuffed away in the fall.  Split em last night and will use them today.  Nasty outside up here...  

Offically moved the fire buring to the outside pit yesterday!  Small burn given the wind and time of year.  Made some minor adjustments to the fire pit..  Wife said it looks the same only it was better the way it was..  I like it.  Added one big rock and got rid of three smaller ones.

Rain coming in tonight and suppose to rain till Friday..  MayB get some speedmittion in this weekend.

Holy Thunderstorms rolling into the High Peaks today.  Finally winter gives way.  Walking to lunch you could actually feel some humidity!  Lower St. Regis Lake was dead calm this morning...  Wanted so bad to wet a line!

Bridges washed away, parking lots half gone - it's the real deal up here today!  Holy water damage!!!

Same at my house in Bergen county, NJ.  Last spring I recall few weeks without either heating or A/C, that's quite rare.
