Watched the game for the second time last night.  man it was tight.    That holding call on Boothe was really a game changer.  We were gonna score 4sure..  I would have liked a blow out...  O well, there is always next year.  

Grunk wasn't as close to catching the Phillips deflection as I originally thought.  But he was close but not really...  

And the Mannignham catch was supreme!  Giants need to pay him number 2 money and keep them three together!    He was Eli's go2 in the fourth!  Three great receivers are way better than two!!!!  

Holy tough schedule!!  We will prevail!!  

NFC East is da Beast!!  And the G-men are the Beast Slayers!!!!

Yes I do ! That pup is 9 years old now. She was retrieving pheasants, grouse and ducks to my hand when she was just 7 months old. I spoil her rotten but she is the most obedient dog I have seen.
Giants next two picks seem ok. More speed and being fiesty are good things. Plus, the kid from VT can return punts. We need a " Devon Hester " type guy.

We're getting rid of people who are producing and keeping Eli. Look, I think Eli is a damn good QB, he's won 2 super bowls for us, but the game has passed him by. He seems to be the one that needs to go. I don't get it.

What are they doing?  I guess respecting a pillar of the franchise who won them a couple of Super Bowls.  I guess that’s nice to see, over pure $$$, these days.

Manning is not long for starting in the league, I don’t think.  Sure, he’s still a really good pocket passer who can make accurate throws downfield.  However, that pro is more than negated by his inaccuracy in the short passing game, his lack of mobility, and what all that means for the Giant’s dismal red zone performance.  So, despite Manning having one of his most efficient, and statistically relevant, years in 2018, despite a terrible offensive line in the first half of the season and injuries to his two primary targets along the way, Manning is no longer an elite level QB.  

The Giants are clearly in rebuild mode, and I think they draft a QB this year.  So, do you let a pillar of the franchise go, while saving $17m in 2019, a portion of which you’d have spent on a recycled Jets QB (Fitzmagic?  McCown?) or the Jaguars trash (Gabbert), or do you overpay Manning out of respect, hoping you get more of the 2018 second half Giants in 2019?  They paid Manning, showed him respect, and secured a great quarterback under which someone like Haskins can learn.

Yeah, I guess so. Just doesn't add up for me. Eli certainly deserves it if in fact that's what their intent is. He's a class act. His stats were def good last year but not throwing down the field certainly helps that.

McAdoo was right benching Eli in 2017. If Eli had any fire he would have asked for a trade to contender - like his brother did. He still could have taken a decent team into the playoffs. Eli loves collecting a fat paycheck with no pressure.
