Haven't seen much football in recent years, as Sunday's are usually for skiing and driving. (Superbowl is a great weekend to ski cause the roads are deserted - you see all those houses along 87 with the TVs on).

Got to see some of the Giants game yesterday - I think they dodged a bullet. IMO they did not play like champions in the second half.

GO GIANTS!

I'm not so sure I agree. Special teams REALLY stepped it up in the second half---what a defensive battle that game was, great fun to watch.

Eli  showed how tough he really is in that game. He got knocked around pretty good, stood tall, and delivered a GREAT win for the G-Men.

She played for Norwood Highschool, which was the half time entertainment for the Pat's in the late 70's..
She hasn't picked up the clarinet in over 30 years.

And of course a couple of "How do you like me now",  hoots!!!  O, I know they hate that one!!!!

Nope. The Giants beat this season's 3 best teams, the Packers, the Niners, and the Patriots all in a row proving  they're the best !

What a game.  I was one of the cynics in that whole dust-up about whether Eli was one of the elite QBs in the league at the beginning of the season.  Clearly he is.  Best 9-7 team ever?

The 9-7 New York Football Giants beat the three best teams in the league this year.  The Green Bay Packers, The San Francisco 49-ers and the New England Patriots.

So that makes them the best team in the league this year.

I know you really do NOT want to play the NEW YORK FOOTBALL GIANTS next season!!

REPEAT - O, it's gonna happen!!!

I didn't see the whole game - somehow I seemed to miss all the Patriot scoring.

Got to give the Gmen credit - when it came time to fold, they refused.

Great to have a close game too, but somehow the game lacked something.  The big tippy toe play did not make my heart skip a beat the way the David Tyree play did.

Also I know it was strategy etc by the brilliant Billie Bellachick but the letting him run into the end zone play - didn't like it. Would have been funny if he stopped before the goal line and ran a bunch of zig zap to run out the clock.
