NYSEF Whiteface Race day Volunteers needed

Volunteer gate Judges needed for the Empire State Winter games at Whiteface on Saturday Feb 4th and Sunday Feb. 5th 2017! Races are organized by the New York Ski Educational Foundation (NYSEF)

-Gate Judges - watch racer for 4 -5 gates, note on clipboard if they miss one which is called a Fault.  You must be able to ski Black terrain as our races are held on Thruway and Drapers Drop at Whiteface. If you are interested, please watch this video from USSA.

Benefits of volunteering:
• -Earn a voucher for a future lift ticket
• -Lift Ticket for Race Day- get a few runs after the race is over for the day
• -FREE LUNCH (yes, there is such a thing at NYSEF)-lunches at Finish Bldg between runs
• -FREE BREAKFAST- Coffee and Bagels at NYSEF Bldg at check in.

Thank you Harvey! The Empire State games are a U16 race that the kids must qualify for ...so there will be some great skiing to watch!

Yes, it is good for a passport as well. We will need volunteers for the U16 State Champs February 24-26th at Whiteface too.

Volunteer is looking for some gate keeper, hand timers and other on snow help for U16 Champs this Friday - Sunday at WF

Also the World Airlines Ski Champs next week.

Earn a free ticket for future use at WF and a ticket for the day of the event you help out at.

NYSEF at Whiteface can use some volunteers for Thursday and Friday Dec. 21st and 22nd.
We need Gate Judges and Timers.
