Need restaurant near Belleayre for a big group

This post was updated on .
My son qualified yesterday at the Kandahar race to make the State Finals at Bellearye.  I've been tasked to try to find a decent place to have dinner saturday night for the NYSEF Whiteface group of around 30 people somewhere near there.  Any ideas on a good place that could handle that many people.

peekamoose is great, this is a little less $$$:

I don't really like any of the restaurants on main street in Phoenecia, but I've heard great things about the just reopened diner if that helps (also on 28).

Good luck at the races!

The smokehouse looks good but is too far east

Peekamoose looks great to me but does not look kid friendly enough.

only place I can find that will even talk to me about seating 40 for Saturday is Andes Hotel in their private room.

Has anyone eaten there?  Their web site looks good

Coach PM me if you are interested in having your dinner for 30 in the Plattekill base lodge.

We ended up booking the Andes Hotel

I had difficulty getting anywhere closer to want to do large group on short notice.  One place actually hung up on me.

The Andes is going to do a nice buffet for us at a reasonable price.  I had limited time to try to pull this together and they have been very helpful.

Great, I like the Andes Hotel -- have never eaten there, but have enjoyed a few microbrews in the tavern... and don't forget what's a couple minutes away:

If you and your group really enjoy yourselves at the Andes Hotel, buy it. 1.3 million and it's yours. The gas station/grocery store/restaurant across the street is also in play for $2500 a month. Andes is a great little village, get out and walk around.
Bobcat has some kind of guard or caretaker who very politely ask me not to earn my turns, but it's worth a shot. I took my first lesson there in the early seventies.leather boots and ski leashes.
