Gore is building a new website and would like your input to optimize it:

They could start by doing the conditions and trail count report like Face does, i.e. not the afternoon before. Though it matters not to me, many have complained about this before.

As much as Gore's website stinks at least it's better than Belleayre's.... which looks like a high school student designed and maintains.

A new website for Belleayre is definitely on ORDA's radar.

Interesting discussion > content vs format.  As the webmaster of this place I get way more grief about format then the content.  Both are important for sure.

In addition to suggesting they add some web cams I also suggested a current weather conditions.

More emphasis on up-to-date ski conditions. Less emphasis on lunch specials. Also, a webcam and more pictures from around the mountain.

Good ideas all. I suggested that maybe they could have an area were people could upload their own Gore photos. I think people would like that, it would be fun and maybe have a community effect. No doubt many people have some really great pics.

They should supply more advance info on what they are planning to open, especially early in the season. It is pretty silly to have to check on harvey road to see what the mountain is planning for the week.

When I came across the question regarding where I get my Gore info that I can't find on their website, I listed NY Ski Blog. Never mind that 90% of the Gore info I need I can find here!

I agree about the live camera, it's 2013...time for Gore to join the webcam club.
