New York Ski Trivia

In this thread someone will ask a question and others will try and answer it.  The question can be about anything ski-related, but since this is the New York Ski Blog, try to keep them relating to skiing in New York.  Similar rules apply to this thread as they do in Guess The Ski Area.  One question at a time, reveal the answer after a reasonable period of time, and if there is a correct answer please specify that it is correct.  I will start with this question.  Which NY mountain had a Lift Engineering/Yan lift?

What ski area boasts the most horizontal in the East?

Gore obviously.  It is on this site in many places.

What New York ski area is credited with building the first detachable chair lift?

I am going with Gore on the lift with the triple.

What mountain in the Northeast has the most windholds?

The Adirondack Express is notable for many reasons, which I will save for another post. But it is not the answer to this question.

The correct answer is tied to a lift that was built several years before the Adk Express and in contrast to Gore's venerable detachable lift, it actually provided very little service.
