New food spot in Wevertown & Casey's ski season reopening...

An article online at the Post Star today touted the opening of a grocery store in Wevertown. I wish the new owners all the best, it sounds like they will have a good selection of things to pick up.

And one of the last lines in the article mentioned that Casey's is reopening for the ski season... anyone else heard any rumors of have more information?

I did search on Wevertown at poststar.com but could not find any. Can you point me to link? We're renting house for a whole season at Wevertown again.

I did the same thing. Searched it every way I could.

Some newspapers don't publish everything online, and others delay online publication to keep their paid subscribers to the print product engaged and paying.

If anyone finds the story from any source, I'd like to see it too.

Casey's reopening ?.....oft repeated tale.  Shame, that's a great building. There was some jockeying for their liquor liscense.

The family put alot of work and $ into this store opening. Hope it works for them. Here's a quote from Stirling Goodspeed that sounds encouraging.....

" Goodspeed said the business is the latest to open in the town, where there has been good commercial momentum. Only one of the last 16 new businesses to open has failed. "
