This recent spy photo, adds to the rumors that Nick Z Productions is breaking new ground in hydrodynamic engineering:

Kayak Prototype

The NZ Product Development Group is highly secretive operation, so details are limited.

But look for prototype testing in the waters of the Adirondacks later this summer.

I recently built a kayak out of all wood. Attached are some pics of its maiden voyage:

Nick ... it's an awesome accomplishment.

How much does it weigh? How does it handle?

Handling is decent, rather tippy at first but i got used to it, it is incredibly light, about 15lbs or so...

Nicely done Nick!

Sweet looking bow and some mighty firm bilges! Looks like she'll track well.

Is it from a plan or did you draw it up yourself?

Like the red trim too...

It is mainly built off the design of a Greenland kayak used by the natives there. And the red trim is partially inspired by the Hornbeck boats since we own one of the original boats.

NZ Productions: Pre-season update

zach
In reply to this post by Harvey
A new 23 gallon compressor has been purchased with the winnings from last years annual SnowatHome picture contest. The compressor is a 21 gallon upgrade and should increase snow production greatly. Being more energy efficient, quieter, and more air capacity should help boost NZ Productions this winter along with the addition of 3 new rails that will be added to NZ PARK.

A new paint job has been applied to all 6 rails, however the slide from the swingset and the traffic cone retain their original color. Thanks for reading the Pre-Season update and the staff at NZ Productions looks forward to a great winter season.
