Being a fan of the 80's Monte Carlo SS personally I like the looks of that car. But I can see why some may not like it. I also dig the looks because of it being somewhat of a sleeper.

I liked the line in the article ---- you could get it in any color you wanted as long as it was black

That's one bad ass car for sure ^^^^^ hardtop or convertible?? I like the hardtops better myself.

Being I'm into trucks like I am I'm going with the best of both worlds. I was reading about this 1961 Suburban today and it made me feel funny in my pants.

Only thing I personally would change is the color. I'd want it fire engine red with a white top -- VROOM VROOM

I had a '68 Camaro in the mid-'70's.  Sold it for $400.  Wonder what it would be worth today.............
But I have a '78 Jeep CJ7, with a 304 V8 that I bought new, was my daily driver until 1989, when I parked it in the barn.  Restoring it has been on my list to do for years, but....Someday.

Jeeps ---- Love em, always wanted one but I've never owned one. Buddy of mine has an 80's Scrambler that he bought while in college. It's still a semi-daily driver for him in the summer time but he has plans to restore it and give it to his son when the time comes. What a lucky kid that his Dad kept that thing.

My Dad, when he graduated college, had a '57 Chev, 2dr, H-Top that he sold because he didn't want to be driving an old clunker around after graduation. Go figure

I mentioned this in an earlier thread - I had a buddy who had a GNX. His dad was a Buick dealer.  I had many rides and got to drive it occasionally. It was the ultimate sleeper.

I had one of these back in the day.  '69 Grand Prix Model SJ.  Talk about sleeper cars.  This puppy was putting out just a hair under 400 HP with a 428 4 barrel and the 400 turbo tranmission.  Talk about being thrown into the back seat!! WooooHoooo!

Bad ass car's for sure^^^^^

For a winter rat one year (back in my vette and TR7 days) I had a 71 Olds Cutlass with a 350 Rocket --- what a fun ride that was to beat around in for the winter. The thing would ROAST the snow tires off the rear. The challenge was the 4 wheel drum brakes as they would all grab at different times
