Some of the reasons the Bundy's had for their standoff I kind of think were legit in some ways.

My hope is that people band together like this to prevent the worst excesses of the upcoming Trump Administration. Unfortunately, Trump is already trying to use the levers of power to squash protest. He has applied for a blanket ban on protests in DC for 1 week before Inauguration Day, Inaugeration day itself, and 1 week after Inaugeration Day. I fear that it will only get worse.

That would be a terrible move on his part, it would force him to use the police and military to stop them and that shit will get ugly.

I almost hope that's how his presidency goes though. F- it. Suffering and suppression are some serious motivators. This country needs a wake up call, we have been asleep at the wheel for way too long.

Are you on the side of military trained Pinkerton-style security forces, hired by multinational corporations, colluding with local, state and federal authorities to conduct counter-terrorism style tactics on generally peaceful protestors?  Or are you not on that side?
