Pushing our luck 2:30 pm departure, we pulled N out of school one hour early. First hour she has missed since birth really.
Anyway, we arrived at 8:15, which is definitely record time when all three of us are together. Awesome pitstop-age.
Every one hit the sack and I went out back to see if I could find my track/trail from Christmas. Yes and no. Found it in spots. And think I could do better in the daylight.
There's a 16 inch, very durable, base with 3 or 4 beautiful inches of new snow.
"ISO 6400"So I knew there was maybe 60 feet of vert back there. And it's truly not steep. But the "steepest" part actually coincides with some bigger nicely spaced trees.
