Ski Day 15: Yes I'm counting it. That's what we do in the flatlands.

Pushing our luck 2:30 pm departure, we pulled N out of school one hour early. First hour she has missed since birth really.

Anyway, we arrived at 8:15, which is definitely record time when all three of us are together. Awesome pitstop-age.

Every one hit the sack and I went out back to see if I could find my track/trail from Christmas. Yes and no.  Found it in spots.  And think I could do better in the daylight.

There's a 16 inch, very durable, base with 3 or 4 beautiful inches of new snow.

So I knew there was maybe 60 feet of vert back there. And it's truly not steep. But the "steepest" part actually coincides with some bigger nicely spaced trees.

Shaman has these fat mamas (110?) and they are fishscale. What are they?
