I'm curious about Hickory's annual snowfall.  My original guess was 130, but I bet it's closer to 120.

Harv, are you going to make an attempt to ski there this season?  You patronize that great pizza joint in town, why not the ski area?

James - I'm thinking Hickory is less than 120. Maybe half of Gore? My guess is 75 inches. I didn't see it on the website.  I wouldn't be surprised if they actually beat my number last year. I think the February Megastorm never actually laid any NCP on Hickory while Gore did get some. And Gore reported 50 inches from that storm.

And yea I definitely want to hit Hickory. You can practically see it from Gino's.

Re: Annual Snowfall Totals

K man
I'm not sure of the totals at Hickory, but I did measure 40" in the flats after the March storm.  It was a bit wetter than what Gore received, but pretty fun.

A quick google search shows a 36" to 98" range for Hickory. Here is a link to the Skiernet.com for NY. They list the snow totals for all the ski areas that they review. It does not say anything about the source or accuracy of the totals. Some of the reviews are a few years old but that would not affect snow totals. Here are some examples (inches):
Belleayre 141
Bobcat   100
Bristol 120
Catamount 75
Gore  150
Greek 110
Hickory 98
Holiday Valley 180
Hunter 125
Little Gore 98 (amazing - same as Hickory)
Plattekill 165 ( I think this is on their web site)
West 80
WF 168
