Okay, I'm ready for winter

MC2 5678F589
I usually get grouchy around this time of year, but it seems particularly bad now. I'm pretty sure if someone charted the internet arguments I get into it would peak around September/October every year. Sometimes I argue about stupid ski shit (like that time I fought with that idiot on AlpineZone who got an app for his phone and claimed that he skied 90 miles an hour at Berkshire East), but this year, it's political (probably because of the Trump effect is bringing a lot of idiocy out into the open).

The only solution is snow and winter. Can't come soon enough.

Haha, as unhinged as I really get. I'll try to be more congenial in my disagreements, but some things really get under my skin.

I think I'll have to break tradition and actually get an early day at k-mart just to make up for all that spring skiing I missed this year
Don't ski the trees, ski the spaces between the trees.

With all this great bonus summer it's kind of hard to think about snow skiing, but I guess we have officially gone to the dark side with the night time taking the majority of each day for the next 6 months.

October is awesome. I can do 40 miles on the road bike in the middle of the day without passing out from the heat. Foliage looks rough this year with the drought around here.

Every year I hear this whining, but, I'll betcha a hundred bucks most of you were hanging up the skis in April last year when Killington was like 70% open.

I would ski 100 days a year if I could.

I know some people rag on Killington. I think that place rocks.

I was in Whistler for a week in April, skied a closed Pico on April 26th, and skied Left Gully and Chute on May 17th. You must be talking about other people.

I'm with ScottyJack.....   Live for the moment in time.

I also agree that embracing mountain biking is key.  It does provide an "upside" to the drought.
