Passholder Perks!

Progress may come slowly at Gore, but it's great to see some effort in marketing and trying to show the passholders a little love:

On-Mountain Passholder Perks!
New this year, passholders receive two coupons for 42% off any food or Retail Shop purchase, a coupon for 50% off a non-holiday quick tune, and a complimentary Coca-Cola cup to use throughout the season for $1.25 refills on coffee, tea, or hot chocolate!

An excellent start. Add in a couple day pass discount coupons (to encourage the most loyal customers to bring some friends) and a tubing discount and we'll really be talking....and let passholders ride the gondi any time that it's open.

I'm going to really get my money's worth - bring the extended family in for Christmas dinner.

I wonder if this was negotiated with Centerplate at the recent contract renewal.  

Can't easily give away 42% on something when your cut is 15%.

If the discount gets someone to try the food, they may capture a new customer and make their money back...get them hooked on the clam chowder (New England that is. The red stuff is just soup!).

The first purchasing deadline is fast approaching; June 21st. If anyone plans to buy a season pass(s) and did not have a pass during the 2010-11 season, private message me to join my group. You can save an additional 10%. This is the lowest priced way to buy a season pass.

Not during the summer. You still have to buy tickets to ride the gondi for hiking or mountain biking, except for one weekend in September.
