Sorry I missed out on probably the best opening day ever for Platty.

It was like skiing at your own private ski area. Fresh lines all day , with no pressure . Just happy friendly people..

The ride up the 87 in the morning , well that's another story..

Laz said yesterday he remembers on other time in the years since 1994 (the year he bought Plattekill) that they were 100% open on day one.

STILL smiling ear to ear.

Passed out early last night  The drive in the am was super white knuckle and I was super tired on the way home.

That is the way the place is every day of the season.  It's why I make it my home mountain.

Thanks for posting Harv Still thinking about that day a week later.

Those are mine and Chris' tracks cutting onto Plunge under your "First Chair" pic (2nd pic).  We hiked over from the triple to the double side first thing before they started loading the double.  

The season can end tomorrow and based on last Saturday at Platty alone, this season is better than last!
