Rainy Day around the Woodstove

Chris
Pretty nice to have a rainy Saturday night/Sunday morning.

House clean top to bottom
Laundry done
Grocery shopping done
We counted $262 in loose change that's been building up for years.

Also good for the trails, they definitely needed the rain... It has been nice not needing to mow as much, but the lawn was getting pretty brown!  Couple more months and we'll be bitching that we were 1-2 degrees away from a huge early season dump...

What'd you do?
The day begins...  Your mountain awaits.

Yesterday when I woke up and checked the radar it looked like my plan to boat were not going to happen.  We decided to change plans  from LP to Lake Champlain The rain was mostly heading north so that turned out to be a great call as the water was fiat and it was sunny.  My wife had some minir surgery this week do it was grandpa Bob and my son and I.

Leaves are definitely starting to change even down at the lake.

Fished a bit and had lunch at Indian Bay Marina in Willsboro.  The wind picked up after lunch so we headed in and had a beer at ausable Brewery.

I feel like I stole  a rainy day from ma nature.  sweet! . It was a great day!

Spent yesterday running sound for a Christian band at the Great Escape pavilions.  Long day of not my music but done by 9pm.  Glad I didn't have to work a street concert in Albany that a few others were one... it rained on them all day.

Tough weekend for our family some hard news coming down, this thread felt right somehow. Sorry for the at cryptic Dead video post above but that solo by Trey was IMO incredible and suited my mood for the day.

Nice pics Coach.
