Rebuilding Mid Station

Work on Whiteface mid station has started.  I'm told that a trench is being dug to bring in the electrical and that the goal is to have a building with washrooms for next season and a fully functional lodge the ski season after.  Below are pictures from near Little Whiteface chair and the top of Boreen.

Feel free to add to the thread as you find out info.

Based on the jobsite and the rendering it seems as if it may end up sort of at the top of Boreen right before the "steep part" that a lot of beginners get hung up on, assuming that trench is going across the top of the "old site"

That looks nice.

I know it's just a rendering but it makes it look like there will be an open fire pit in the middle of the ski trail.

I had thought the goal was to have this built by this next fall.  Why does it take Orda twice as long as anywhere else to build things?

Why start now if all they are going to do is build bathrooms this yr?  there is now going to be a shit load of rocks in the snow again.
