Rent Plattekill - which day would you choose?

We have a work group looking at the possibility of renting Platty for a day. There are a handful of dates left open and we're trying to choose one.

Still left are Jan 6, 9, 16, and 23; March 12 and 16.

So roll the dice - which date would you pick if you had to commit today?

Unlikely to be able to make it, but only date that doesn't conflict with plans already made is Thu, Jan. 23.  By March, if I add in any ski days more likely to fly out west after my daughter's spring break is over March 15.

How many people do you need for a private day to make sense?  Might have a few friends in eastern PA or NYC who would consider joining the fun.

Haha - maybe I wasn't clear. Not looking to recruit people at the moment. Just considering based on everyone's gut feel what days could be most likely to be crappy conditions. To me it seems like the Jan dates are risky based on our typical thaw we get...but I"m not a Platty regular.

I say Jan. 23. Just my gut. It’s a crap shoot.

Please leave room the NYSB Annual, either the 4th or 11th of Jan.

Why u want crappie condition a?
Probably mid January can be any type of snow conditions
Late March probably better snow with spring times.
Its an impossible guess.
